The SMD2920 series PTC resettable fuse is a polymer-based positive temperature coefficient device designed for overcurrent and short-circuit protection in 2920 surface-mount applications. Under normal operating conditions, it exhibits low resistance, and when an overcurrent occurs, its resistance increases rapidly to limit the fault current. Once the fault condition is removed and the device cools down, the fuse automatically returns to its low-resistance state, providing repeatable and reliable circuit protection.
